I, the creator of your pet portrait, am a true animal lover. To immortalise your pet through art brings me so much joy. I aim for every portrait to be a unique and high quality work of art. I can even tailor-make digital pet portraits. It can, for example, be a digital painting that emulates classical techniques that is printed on a specific kind of paper. It can also be a playful photomontage, collage or a combination using AI.

Glowy fur, shimmering eyes, a special aura – what are the characteristics of your friend? Make sure to describe your pet when you place an order, for example their personality, memories or traits. It helps me in my job as a pet artists to immortalise what is unique in a personal interpretation of your motif.

What formats can my pet portrait be in?
You can order paintings and drawings in a variety of different formats. The most common ones are A5, A4 or A3. These standardformats are preferred since you can buy a passepartout and frames at a cheaper price. But the possiblities don't end there – bigger and smaller formats are also available, both for paintings and drawings.
A5 – 14.8 x 21cm
A4 – 21 x 29.7cm
A3 – 29.7 x 42cm
What are the prices like for different types of pet portraits?
Pencil, charcoal, marker, pan pastel and watercolour: Generally costs between 500 and 3000 SEK.
The cost of animal portraits in acrylic, oil paint or very detailed or large paintings and drawings start at 3000 SEK.
JNArt has the ability to create incredibly detailed and vibrant pet portraits at a great price. Together, we will find the technique and level of detail that gives the best results.
How long does it take to order a pet portrait?
I always aim to deliver pet portraits within two weeks. Sometimes there may be a slightly longer wait, but if it's urgent I make sure to prioritise portraits that need to be finished quickly. When you send an order request, you will receive an estimate of when delivery can take place.
How is the artwork delivered?
Your pet portrait is sent via mail as a traceable parcel. It can be sent using another delivery service, if it is an urgent order. You are always welcome to come and pick up your masterpiece in person at my studio in Majorna, if you live in the Gothenburg area.
What techniques can my pet portrait be done in?
JNArt creates pet portraits in watercolour, oil paint, acrylic, pencil, charcoal, pan pastel, colored pencils, markers, ink, as well as digital paintings and photo collages.
Can I have my pet portrait in a specific style?
Yes, it is usually possible to have your pet portrait done in a specific style. It can be a blend of mediums and techniques, but also different historical styles or design trends.
What if I am not satisfied with my portrait?
It is important to me that you as a customer are satisfied with the finished artwork. Before placing an order, it is therefore crucial that we have a clear dialogue, so that the framework of the project is clear and your expectations can be met. If you have any comments on the finished portrait, you are always welcome to share them - in most cases I can make adjustments. Should JNArt not have completed the assignment as agreed, you are of course entitled to cancel the purchase.
Can I have my pet portrait framed?
Of course! For an added price, I will frame your painting or drawing in whatever way best suits it.
Photo tips for commissioning a pet portrait
When you order an animal portrait, you can choose the photos you think are suitable, and then we will discuss which one works best as a model. Sometimes it can be hard to capture a nice photo of an animal, even more so if the picture includes multiple. It can used for both detailed illustrations of your pets or quick sketches.

You can order portraits where your animal is placed in a suitable environment. It can be a lively scene with movement or a composition where several animals interact. In some cases, detailed backgrounds can be a good way to enhance the mood or create a context that truly reflects the animal's natural environment and character.
