Graphic Recording
Graphic recording, or as it is also known – a meeting scribe – is an illustrator who, during the course of a meeting, writes clear notes in words, draws succinct illustrations and weaves the whole together with graphic design elements – all in real time. In graphic recording, the message of a presentation is summarised live. This provides added value such as participants being able to understand the content more easily, remember better, it can provide reference frameworks that can be discussed later, the images can be used later in change management work, it helps to build a shared knowledge base and, not least – it is entertaining to watch.

Caricaturist at a trade fair or other event
Capture a process, draw meeting notes, lead processes where others draw and co-create, or visualise future plans. Illustrator JNArt undertakes many different types of commissions where the client can help shape the appropriate elements. These can be physical illustrations, paintings or digital images projected onto a wall.
Allowing an illustrator to capture what happens in quick sketches or paintings is fun and memorable. It can be easier to understand the content of a lecture when there is a point of reference in a drawing. It also becomes a source of discussion among participants. Read below about various types of execution that can be done live.
Illustrators depict environments and participants - for example at a conference
Quick sketches on paper or digitally, or perhaps a large painting that slowly emerges during the day. JNArt can draw what happens – while it is happening. A visitor observing, the speaker standing on the stage, ideas and images being discussed, environments or images from the local surroundings – it can be anything at all. Exaggerated and caricatured or simply beautiful and subtle – the client helps set the parameters for the assignment.
Creativity course
A team may be working in a profession where creativity and new ideas are important. You can hire JNArt to give lessons in creativity and to organise workshops where participants can practice their creative thinking. It includes both theoretical elements but above all practical exercises that will help the individual and the group to try new ways.
Illustrator drawing memos
Hiring an illustrator for an event is a fun element while the drawing is being illustrated, but can also be a tool for disseminating information. It is easy to forget a power-point that is sent out after a lecture. But if the information is sent along with an illustration that the participants have seen created during the lecture, the information is much easier to remember and refer to. JNArt uses memory technology skills to create memorable images that facilitate learning.
Graphic facilitation
With expertise in graphic design and illustration, as well as change management and coaching, JNArt can put together engaging workshops that activate many senses in the meeting process. Visual facilitation can include everything from drawing pictures together, using the room and movement, or projecting images and films in creative ways and then interacting with the visual elements. The aim is to make complex processes more playful and easier to understand. It also makes a process more memorable, allowing the most important aspects to become clearer. Get in touch with JNArt to discuss what suits your event.
